Measuring for a standard tub-shower unit: You have a tub-shower unit if your tub measures about 60 inches between the walls. To determine the length shower curtain you need, measure from the bottom of your shower curtain rod to the floor and subtract 2 inches. This will tell you the length you need.
We carry three lengths to fit your tub-shower unit: 72, 78, and 84 inches.
Measuring for a stall unit: We offer 55 inch wide stall shower curtains. The width of your stall opening should be between 42 to 50 inches. If your measurement is less or more than this, your curtain will be either too full or not full enough when closed.
To determine the length you need, measure from the bottom of your shower curtain rod to the floor and subtract 2 inches. We offer stall shower curtains in 78 inch lengths. You may possibly be able to move your shower curtain rod up or down to accommodate this length.
Back To Questions PageMeasuring for a clawfoot tub: To determine the width you need, measure the circumference of the rod from which your curtain will hang. Add another 15 to 20 inches inches for fullness. It is acceptable to have extra width as this allows for some fullness when the curtain is closed.
We offer clawfoot tub shower curtains in 180 inch wide widths.
Please bear in mind that a clawfoot tub liner is 70 inches long. If you place the rod too high, the liner may not reach far enough into the tub to shed water properly. Our clawfoot tub shower curtains measure 72 inches long.
